The Language Lodge is a game concept I developed as a one-stop camping-themed learning block game, designed to help players learn animal names from English to Spanish while exploring the outdoors. I took much of my inspiration from the classic Yosemite posters of the 1930s and 40s, bringing in the nostalgic feel of vintage national park graphics. The result is an engaging experience where players can not only build on their vocabulary, but also learn about the tracks of animals commonly found in nature.
Primary/Secondary Logo
My logo pairs bold, rustic type with an evergreen tree icon to reflect both the structure of the game and its outdoor inspiration. I then developed a secondary mark that acts like a camp badge, featuring a bear paw to give the identity a more playful and adventurous feel. I also created a clean and sturdy wordmark to reinforce the educational focus while fitting naturally into the woodland aesthetic.
